At Beads & Reeds, located in Rockford, IL., we offer a variety of products and services.  Our products consist of Swarovski crystals, Czech glass beads, Natural stone, findings in both Bali silver and base metals. We also have all the tools you need to construct your jewelry. PMC is also becoming very popular in our area, so we carry PMC clay, PMC paste, PMC syringe and many of the tools you will need to design your perfect piece.  We have a kiln and offer firing services if you don't want to invest in your own kiln. We have a section in our store devoted to the art of weaving baskets.  We carry premium natural and smoked reed.  Dyed reed is also available, as well as many basket weaving tools.  We also offer classes in both jewelry and basket weaving.  Jewelry making classes cover basic stringing, earrings, wire wrapping, stitched pieces and PMC instruction.  Basket weaving classes range from the beginning classes that we instruct to advanced classes where we bring in nationally know instructors.
